In case you didn't know already, I'm Robin Mason. I'm a software developer by day, living and working in Lancaster (UK). In my spare time, I play guitar and electric bass in a variety of styles ranging from jazz to folk to funk to fusion. I do bits and bats of gigging and teaching, but not as much as I'd like to be doing. I'm not entirely sure how long I've been playing for, but I reckon it must be about 15 years...
Other than music, I'm also fairly into photography, although I've been rather struggling to find the time to get out with the camera recently. This site is (at the moment) pretty much dedicated to my photography, as you can see :)
I have, at various points in the past, been a reasonably keen outdoorsy person, being particularly into hiking and cycling. I'm ideally situated for the English Lake District, and it's only a few hours drive into the Scottish Highlands. However, I've recently discovered that my knees aren't quite as good as they used to be (I'm only 24, dammit!) and it seems to take me a fortnight to recover from a single days walking :(
As you've probably worked out by now, the site contains a load of photos, but not much else. I've tried to make the navigation sufficiently intuitive that I don't have to explain it :)
Regarding the music, well, you'll just have to wait for that. I'm hoping at some point to start putting clips and what-not on the site, but for now there'll just be photography.
All the images on this website are copyright of their respective owners, which in most cases will be me (any photos not taken by me will be attributed accordingly in the gallery). If you want to use any of the photographs on this site, please send me an email stating which one and what you intend to use it for. In most cases, a larger, less compressed (i.e. higher quality) version will be available, and I'll be happy to send these out to you instead.
If you are really desparate to contact me, I've tried to de-robotise my email address below (for what it's worth), so just work it out for yourself.
